CNADM Names 2016 Outstanding Member of the Year

RobinIreyEach year, CNADM recognizes one member who has gone above and beyond in advocating for our association…running a successful studio…and promoting the dance arts to make a positive impact on the community. Robin Irey Marchiori, owner and artistic director of the Cary-Grove Performing Arts Centre, is that member.

Marchiori mentors every teacher in her studio to join CNADM, and offers to pay for all employees to attend Training School. She devotes many hours to preparing scholarship nominations for her students to attend CNADM events, and constantly promotes the benefits of our workshops.

Education and self-improvement are important to our honoree, and she has benefited her students and staff by earning her Master’s Degree in nutrition and certification in yoga. “This constant strive for betterment of her business and staff is what keeps everyone motivated,” said her nominator and employee. “Robin is constantly empowering us.”

From the standpoint of community, Marchiori was instrumental in raising funds to renovate the performing arts theater at her local high school—even matching donated funds with her own money. She also created and supervises a philanthropic group of students who volunteer their time and talents to local organizations in need.

Congratulations to Robin Irey Marchiori, our well-deserved Outstanding Member of 2016!
