Annual Awards Banquet
July 29, 2010
DoubleTree Chicago/Oak Brook
Oak Brook, IL
Once a year, dance educators and their students come together to honor their peers, and enjoy the spirit of dance. The Annual Awards Banquet is a semi-formal dinner and attendance is included in all paid registrations, with the exception of Student Session.
Members who are not attending the Summer Workshops, and guests of workshop attendees are welcome to attend the banquet. Additional banquet tickets are available for $55 per person.
Lifetime Achievement Award — This exclusive award has only been presented three times in the history of CNADM to Edward Villela, Gerald Arpino and Maria Tallchief. There will be no presentation in 2009.
Artistic Achievement Award — Each year, CNADM presents the Artistic Achievement Award to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the dance community. This year, CNADM is pleased to honor Jon Lehrer with the 2010 Artistic Achievement Award.
Member of the Year Award — This award recognizes one special member who has gone above and beyond in promoting and supporting CNADM, as well as in supporting the art of dance within their community at large. Members nominate each other and the recipient is announced at the Awards Banquet.
Service Awards — In addition to honoring our new members and those who have earned CDE and MDE certification status, CNADM also honors those members who have reached their 25-year and 50-year memberships. Being honored in 2010 is:
