Dress code
Student dress code consists of a one-piece leotard and solid color tights with all appropriate shoes according to dance discipline. No swimwear, midriffs, crop tops, abdomen cutouts, two-piece thong leotards or biker shorts. This criteria is necessary as a view of body line is important for proper correction. No superfluous clothing may be worn over or tied to shoulders or waist.
Boys should wear jazz pants and fitted tee-shirts, with no baggy clothing to obscure the view of the body line.
Students must have hair secured off the face and neck, and wear minimal jewelry on the dance floor. Student’s name should be placed in all dance shoes and dancewear in case of loss.
No gum chewing in class. Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during any CNADM class. No photos or videos may be taken during class, including those taken from a cell phone.
We request that all teachers and students conform to our dress code for the classroom which includes wearing cover up clothing over dancewear whenever you are in the hotel lobby, hallways or on elevators.
