Being a dance educator goes beyond teaching a time step or running a class through barre exercises. Technique is the foundation of all you teach, but your business is built upon so much more.
You must develop a curriculum, learn new choreography, organize your business operations, order costumes, appease anxious parents, impart discipline and still somehow inspire your students to dance like Pavlova.
It's a daunting task, but the rewards are many and the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters is here to help. CNADM is a non-profit educational association whose sole purpose is to serve the needs of dance educators. Since 1912, CNADM has sponsored continuing education workshop classes for dance teachers and their students.
We hope you'll find the workshops of interest and consider the joining the prestigious ranks of our members. Feel free to contact us directly with any questions you may have at 815-397-6052 or cnadm@megsinet.net.
