Workshop Scholarships

CNADM annually awards up to 26 scholarships for our summer workshops which cover registration fees. These scholarships are available to CNADM members, and to students of CNADM members, and a CNADM Workshop Scholarship Application is mailed to each member in the first quarter of the year.

In addition to member scholarships, eleven merit scholarships are awarded during the summer workshops based on a student’s performance during the session. One merit scholarship for Dance & More and four Ballet Forum merit scholarships are awarded to cover registration fees to the 2010 workshops. And, one student in each Student Session class is selected for a merit scholarship, which covers registration fees at the 2010 Fall Workshop in November.

Students will be observed daily during their classes and will be selected for merit scholarships based on attitude, etiquette, appearance, ability to work with others, proper use of time on and off the floor, ability to accept corrections and dance ability.

College Scholarship

Since its inception in 1997, CNADM is proud to have awarded $16,000 in annual College Scholarships to 13 deserving students of CNADM members. The Yvonne Brown Collodi College Scholarship annually helps one student fulfill their dream of completing a college degree. Yvonne Brown Collodi was a 30-year member of the CNADM Board of Directors and helped implement and chair the College Scholarship program.
