Kara McDonald received her BFA in Ballet and Modern Dance from Texas Christian University in 2007. While at TCU she had the opportunity to work with renowned artists such as Fernando Bujones. After graduation she moved back to her hometown of Chicago. She has enjoyed teaching, performing and choreographing dance for all ages. She has performed with Project 606 Dance Company, JMT and JLS Dance Project, Esoteric Dance Project and other various independent Choreographers. After 5 seasons with Esoteric Dance Project she completed her final season with the Company this past December 2015. She has had her yoga certification since 2011 from Core Power Yoga. She is presently the Assistant Manager at the Core Power in Roscoe Village, where she teaches several yoga classes and trains future yoga teachers. She continues to teach and choreograph dance in the Chicago area.
