CNADM annually awards up to 26 scholarships which cover registration fees for our summer dance workshops. These scholarships are available to CNADM members, and to students of CNADM members, and a CNADM Workshop Scholarship Application is mailed to each member in the first quarter of the year. The application submission deadline is April 1st.
In addition to member scholarships, eleven merit scholarships are awarded during the summer workshops based on a student’s performance during the session. One Dance & More merit scholarship and five Ballet Forum merit scholarships are awarded to cover registration fees for that workshop the following summer. And, each Student Session class selects one student for a merit scholarship, which covers registration fees at the following Fall Dance Workshop in November. Students will be observed daily during their classes and will be selected for merit scholarships based on attitude, etiquette, appearance, ability to work with others, proper use of time on and off the floor, ability to accept corrections and dance ability.
Since its inception in 1997, CNADM is proud to have awarded over $20,000 in college scholarships to deserving students of CNADM members. The Yvonne Brown Collodi College Scholarship annually helps students fulfill their dream of completing a college degree. Yvonne Brown Collodi was a 30-year member of the CNADM Board of Directors and helped implement and chair the College Scholarship program. Each year, CNADM awards up to four scholarships totaling $5000. Past recipients may re-apply each year that they are a member or student of a CNADM member in good standing. The submission deadline for college scholarship applications is June 1st.
